A classic Cosmopolitan for those nights out when you want something simple, pretty and a little special.

Cosmopolitan cocktail

Let’s talk about the Cosmopolitan, the sleek, pink drink that essentially defined cocktail culture in the late ’90s. Although it’s been around since the ’70s, it’s truly become a household name thanks to Sex and the city. Suddenly, everyone wanted a glass of martini in their hand!

What I love about a Cosmo is that it’s not just a pretty drink; when done right, it’s a perfectly balanced blend of spicy and sweet. You can use a lemon-flavored vodka if you want an extra touch of citrus, but it’s not completely necessary: a good quality plain vodka works just as well. It’s a fun, classic cocktail that still feels a bit like a party.
