Check out the Weet-Bix overnight cheesecake for one. It’s single-serving, delicious and very easy to prepare. It has all the signature flavors of cheesecake, but makes an ideal breakfast!
The continued popularity of Japanese cheesecake in a jar has truly been a gift that keeps on giving, inspiring me to explore other single-serve dessert possibilities in a jar. My first totally delightful experience was adapting the classic tiramisu in a bathtub. Following this, I decided to simplify the breakfast trend of overnight stay Weet-Bixapplying the same technique used for cheesecake to make it much easier (and single-serving!).

Okay, don’t laugh, but I was one of those people who ran, instead of walked, to the stores to buy those trendy containers that I saw all over social media. Overnight at Weet-Bix and overnight oats the fans made me feel like I necessary those glamorous glass tubs with colorful screw-on lids (some even have a spoon holder on the side) immediately. Not only would I eat healthy, but everyone would be able to see how on trend I was!
And now ? The long coming This recipe. These containers are now pushed to the back of the closet, collecting dust. For what? Because this recipe is so simple, it just uses the container the ingredient comes in. If only this trend had come first!
💡Tip: Prepare it the night before before eating it
This recipe requires refrigeration overnight. However, these Weet-Bix overnight yogurt pots can be stored covered in the refrigerator for up to 4 days, so you can just take them out whenever you want.
How I came up with this Easy Weet-Bix Overnight Cheesecake Recipe (and Why It Works!)
This one-night Weet-Bix trick started with a trip to the supermarket. Why Weet-Bix Bites? I chose the Bites for their ease of use, as they fit perfectly to the height of the yogurt pot I was using. To keep the breakfast theme consistent, I paired fruity raspberry yogurt with honey Weet-Bix bites and could see visions of fresh raspberries and a drizzle of honey on top.
The key to this recipe is finding the right Weet-Bix to yogurt ratio, which depends on your preferences. Fewer bites will result in a creamier texture, while more bites will make it firmer and enhance the flavor of the cereal. Overall, this method is a simple and effective way to take advantage of the Weet-Bix overnight trend, providing an easy, make-ahead breakfast without the need for fancy containers.
Key Ingredients for my Easy Weet-Bix Overnight Cheesecake Recipe:
- Raspberry yogurt: making it the easiest breakfast ever, individual pots of yogurt are key. Choose your favorite flavor or select a variety of flavors so you can choose every morning.
- Weet-Bix Bites: it’s the perfect size for this ready-made breakfast. Adding Weet-Bix makes for a satisfying, solid breakfast that will keep you going all morning.
- Fresh raspberries: these add spice and freshness to breakfast. They are a game-changer and balance the “wheat” of cereals.
- Dear: This adds an extra-sweet drizzle that complements the honey bites and tangy yogurt.
